Our Vision

Capital College seeks to educate and empower our students to have a meaningful impact on the health of those around them. To achieve this mission, we seek to offer multiple programs centered on allied healthcare. We currently offer Phlebotomy, and we plan to offer Histotechnology, Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Assisting. We also teach English as a Second Language for those living in this multicultural and ethnically-diverse geography who have not yet mastered English.

We are but one part of Tysons Medical Center. Also located on-site is a CLIA-regulated laboratory, United Medical Laboratories, which was established in 1984. We have partnered with them to provide hands-on training for our students. As a result, our classroom and clinical experience is achieved at one location, in contradistinction to many of our competitors.

In addition, Synergy Immediate Care, a hybrid primary care and urgent care practice, is on the first floor, and will provide a convenient partner for our future Medical Assistant students.

Finally, with multiple specialty clinics coming to Tysons Medical Center in the near future, ranging from Dermatology to Cardiology to OB/GYN to Radiology, Capital College is excited to be part of a future patient-centered medical home. By teaming up with these practices and laboratory, we will offer an extensive array of health-related educational programs and the requisite practical experience, all in the heart of Tysons Corner, Fairfax County, and Northern Virginia.
