Certification in Cytotechnology

A cytotechnologist is easily one of the highest paid positions in all of the allied health professions. Getting a certification in cytotechnology means one is able to observe human cells for cancerous and pre-cancerous abnormalities, partake in Pap smear analyses, and properly judge cellular patterns for pathologic irregularities. On top of their clinical duties, cytotechnologists are sufficiently trained to handle supervisory, administrative, and even educational positions in the workplace.

The Capital College Cytotechnology Certification program is a 9-month program that is designed to prepare students to do all of the above. Students will become adept at analyzing cell samples, operate cutting-edge technology, and perform diagnoses of development of cancerous cellular activity.
