Certification in Medical Technology

Medical Technology, also known as clinical laboratory science, is a field where students are prepared for paramedical disciplines such as endocrinology, immunology, hematology, etc. Medical technologists are high in demand in both job openings and specialization. The medical technologist will work to achieve a fundamental understanding of medical technology and have a profound impact on how medical technology shapes diagnoses, treatments, and procedures.

The Capital College Medical Technology program offers certification in specialized disciplines including, but not limited to, bacteriology, clinical chemistry, endocrinology, hematology, immunology, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, serology, and virology. This 9-month program offers students a hands-on experience while learning how to become certified in their discipline of choice.
